Applying to be a member at TBC
We’re excited that you are considering a more committed and identifiable role within this local body. The essence of membership is to help our leaders know who they are serving and who they are accountable for (Hebrews 13:17), while also providing people a way to identify who their leaders are (Hebrews 13:7). If you feel led to move forward with the process of becoming a member, please see the requirements below before sending an application.
Requirement #1
Potential members must have a repentant faith in the Gospel and be consecrated unto the Lord.
Requirement #2
Potential members must have regularly attended Trinity Bible Church for at least four (4) months.
Requirement #3
Potential members must have been water baptised following a profession of faith as a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Requirement #4
Potential members must go through the Statement of Faith and, Church Covenant.
Requirement #5
Potential members must be willing to be interviewed by the elders and may require class(es) in doctrine, polity, and vision of Trinity Bible Church.
Requirement #6
Potential members must be willing for the Board of Elders to contact any previous churches that applicants have attended (if necessary).
